  i conducted the wt study tonight on higher education.

  i wondered what the reaction of the bros and sis would be.

  there was no deviation from the idea that a university education is not a good idea.

  Sighhhhhhhh, the Draw Close to Jehovah book again for the Congregation Bible Study.

  check out this gem from the dec 2013 km which explains why it's good to over this book a second go round.. "congregations previously considered this book during 2004 and 2005. however,for many of the approximately two million publishers who have come into the truth since then,this will be the first time that jehovahs endearing qualities have been discussed in detail.for those who studied the book before, the review will help them to deepen their appreciation forjehovahs attributes.ps.119:14".

  i gotta kick out of this because i can only think of maybe two or three new ones in our congregation who weren't present when this book was first studied.

  at the same time, going over jehovah's qualities isn't something new.

  Two million? Yeah right, that means there was only 5.5 million JWs in 2004, which means that in the last 9 years there has been over a 33% increase. Yeah bloody right.

  I need to make some new friends now.

  it gets harder to make friends as you get older and you're children more independent, i feel.. i know it sounds a bit sad but any ideas about how to make some new friends??.

  i'm not averse to joining a club or starting a new hobby.

  i just feel a bit out of practice.. nelly no mates xx.

  I know where you're at because as a JW you don't have to put a lot of effort into making friends because you go to the kh and there's always someone to talk to. Now it's harder because you have to meet new people and put effort into getting to know them. I too am nervous about that as I was never really good at making friends before I was a JW.

  I think your thinking about joining a club or something is a good start as mutual interests can help form the basis of a friendship. I made a nice friend through a small association of bird enthusiasts I started. One friend, but she's worth ten JW 'friends'. Maybe joining an art class or soomething like that can help you meet new people. Just understand that it takes a lot longer to make a non JW friend. The good thing though is, they don't leave you so easily and like you for you.

  my story is long, heart stopping, tragic, and puzzling.

  since i posted what was said to be my last post, i received a private message which sparked my attention about the watchtower.

  immediately i did research, and have found not only proof from outside sources, but the watchtower openly admitting it.

  Go find your friend! You and he can be a support for each other. I'm really sorry about your dad eh. Here you can find out all sorts of interesting stuff and meet with people who understand the journey you're taking. It's not easy, but you are not alone.

  we all enjoy life even now due to jehovah's tender mercies, for if it were not for his slowness to anger all humans would not have lived into this 21st century of out common era.

  only scanned,,couple articles on necessary on having a old-age long-term plan now.

  reality is hitting them more than ever.. also, australia showed "publisher" amount.

  i assume it was the "peak" stat.

  What a crock! Pointing oldies towards satan's governments to get help instead of actually lifting a finger to help them yourselves, such as taking them to the doctor, getting their groceries for them, offering to clean their houses or maintain their yards, visit when they are lonely, and all the other things you can do to help old people. Farming them off onto the government= too bad, so sad, get out of our hair you useless old people. This is truly sickening.

  The medical specialist told me something alarming today. Pretty bummed.

  so i've been going to doctors for years with chronic fatigue, a condition i managed ok but which took a drastic nose dive in late 2011 to 2012 to the point where i could barely function.

  work was part of the problem, so at the end of that year i left that stressful environment.

  but in the meantime, for the last few years i've been going to doctors, specialists, psychiatrists and psychologists and undergoing every sort of blood test you can imagine and seeing all sorts of medical people.

  My friend's Mom apologized to her kids for teaching them lies!

  she has been a witness most of her life.

  her three kids were brought up as jw in a communist country and the whole family suffered reprisals from the regime for being in the org.

  (father was well know elder).

  Do You Think Anyone Looks Down On People Who Commit "Fornication"?

  i think only in strict religious circles, is it considered taboo.. does someone's "fornicating" bother you?.

  There's no guideline on that, but married couples are pretty much not supposed to talk about what they do to others. I knew a couple who had handcuffs and blindfolds. Another sister who worked as their cleaner told me when she'd had some loosening juice at a party.

  I was married three years ago as a JW, and the JW elder celebrant told us that "what you do in the bedroom is entirely your business".

  Depends on the type of "fornication". If it's the irresponsible type listed in the above post, yeah, I'd look down on those people as needing to have self control and responsibility. If it's the unmarried people in a steady relationship/living together type, then no. If people are responsible and sensible and prepared to deal with consequences rather than killing the baby or neglecting it or having multi baby daddies and mummies and letting their kids grow up to be criminals or bogans...
